 Piri Dastgir Mosque 

Today, we had the chance to visit the Piri Dastgir Mosque as part of our practicum journey in Bukhara. This mosque, though not very large or famous, left a special impression on me. Its peaceful atmosphere and deep spiritual energy made it one of the most memorable places we've seen so far.

The moment I stepped inside, I felt a sense of calm. The design of the mosque was simple, yet it had a quiet beauty that made me feel at peace. Unlike some bigger monuments, the Piri Dastgir Mosque felt more personal — as if it welcomed every visitor to pause, reflect, and connect with their thoughts.

Our teacher, Mohichehra Temurovna asked several questions about the mosque and we talked about how “Piri Dastgir” refers to a respected religious figure, known for his wisdom and spiritual guidance. It was touching to learn how this mosque has remained a place of prayer and peace for many generations. I could feel that history in the air, and it made me think about the power of faith and tradition in our lives.

What I appreciated most was the stillness of the place. It allowed me to reflect not only on the past but also on my own goals and responsibilities as a future teacher. I believe that such experiences help shape us — not only professionally but personally as well.

This visit reminded me that even the quietest places can have the loudest impact on the heart. I’m grateful for the opportunity to explore such meaningful sites and feel more connected to our rich heritage with each step.

Chor Minar

 A Visit to Chor-Minor Today, during our practicum, we had the chance to visit Chor-Minor, one of the most interesting historical sites in Bukhara. Although it is not as large as other monuments, it immediately caught my attention with its unique design.  The name "Chor-Minor" means "Four Minarets," and true to its name, the building has four small towers, each with a slightly different look. I found it fascinating that each tower is said to represent a different culture, showing how diverse and rich our history is. When I first saw the building, I felt both curious and surprised. It looked very different from what I expected. The bright blue domes on top of each tower gave it a cheerful and peaceful feeling.   Visiting Said Abdulhasan Poband – Discovering Spiritual Heritage Today, as part of our practicum, we had the chance to visit the resting place of Said Abdulhasan Poband, a respected religious figure in Bukhara’s rich spiritual history. Although the site is not very large or well-known to tourists, it holds deep meaning for the local community.  Visiting places like this helps us see a different side of Bukhara – not just its famous monuments, but also the hidden spiritual landmarks that are full of respect and tradition.
